The reader may be able to uncover a flavor of preference on the underlying issue, but both sides do seem to have balanced copy throughout the text.

This is an excellent history of marijuana prohibition in the United States. I was especially interested to learn about how the increased restrictions that occurred in 1980s were influenced by grassroots organizing in opposition to the liberalization of marijuana laws. As public opinion is shifting again in favor of liberalization, will there be a similar backlash?
